Bloodkin – Two Nights at OTP
doors each night 8p / show 9p** / 21+ / $20 each night
**Please note our show on Friday will start a bit later as we will light up the stage after the Free Summer Concert Series show; it’s roughly a 10p finish over there.
Bloodkin returning to OTP is magic. Many renditions of the act have played here through the years, and they have all been mighty, fiery and unforgettable. Multiple shows with the entire band just melting paint off our walls, other times we got the acoustic take from Danny, Eric and our guy Eric Martinez. This will be the first time Bloodkin takes our stage since the bright blue ball has lost original and founding member Danny Hutchens. Guitarist Eric Carter is holding down the helm and being sure the music plays on, he currently has the band assembled with some old school Bloodkin players, as well as some long-time friends joining to round out this monstrous rock and roll band.
If you have ever seen a Widespread Panic show, you have very likely heard a Bloodkin song. A few years before Widespread Panic, there was Bloodkin. Danny and Eric educated the Panic guys on how to be free and not care what the people think, how to dig deep and let the music emerge from your soul, and how to hit the road and make your own decisions. Songs like Can’t Get High, Henry Parsons Died, Makes Sense to Me, Who Do You Belong To, End Of The Show; they are all Panic fan favorites and they are all a play of the original scores that Bloodkin wrote and created.
This place is gonna be rowdy, the energy the band will offer us will resonate for some time, we hope you join the party!!
