Guitarist Eddie Roberts has not graced our stage since January 2020 when The New Mastersounds blew the roof off the Pub for two funk-filled ragers. Dan Africano (bass) and Jeff Franca (drums) of Thievery Corporation played for us as we were starting to break down the walls of the pandemic back closing weekend of the mountain in April 2021. Dan and Jeff played with The Big Wu’s Mark Joseph and they offered us one special weekend, allowing the show to go on and letting the music play. Many of us got closer to each other than we had for about a full year, and it was magical, a group of people forming a cluster to hear and feel the music and connection that comes along with it.

I think we can expect a very stellar treat when Dan and Jeff join forces with Eddie. All of these guys have tickled our ears and melted our souls in this place quite a few times before but never together as a trio. We will likely hear elements of jazz, funk, exploratory beats and in-yo-face guitar solos. The New Master Corporation is coming in hot and the OTP will once again be the luckiest little place on the planet for getting to be a part of this one!!!
